Hello from Germany!

We are at a cafe and getting the opportunity to write to you. This keyboard is very different. We are fine and we will be leaving and coming home as planned. We have so much to share but as it is difficult to get to a computer and the one I have does not work here then I must let you know when we get home. We have so much to share and a great work was done and we can’t wait to share with you all. We love and miss you.  See you soon!

Love, Kathie and Judy Heiner and Anne say hello and send their love.

We are having an incredible time and ministered to many today and prayed in Red Square and met many people.  We will have lots to share about this trip.

A man I will call “Willie” for it is easier to write and I can barely pronounce his name let alone spell it. He is married and they have a daughter 12, he is our taxi driver and I gave him a Head over Heels CD and he was so excited he played it for us on the ride back.  I was so glad he can back for us and when we got in the car he showed me a CD player he did not have before and played it and he was so excited.  He speaks no English but we have been managing and he was humming so we sang it all the way back.  He is gonna help me find the orphanage and a church for Sunday.  God is so faithful and I love Him so.

A woman came up and asked for money, she was old and not of drink but hunger and I gave her 10 rubles and that is a small amount and you would have thought I had given her 10,000. She kissed me and kissed me and I asked Judi if she would give the scarf that were for that purpose to give to her and she did and she kissed us over and over and we prayed for her all the while I was crying that so little could mean so much to her.  I wished I had given more and I was so taken back and full of joy and yet a sadness that she had gone and I did not see her again.

It surprised me at how much this time I have been looking for the children and the old here have struck me so. Very sad conditions and we are going tomorrow to give clothes to some elderly and find the children.  My heart is full and I love so much that I wonder how I can stop and rest even tonight.  It feels as if there is not enough time and there are so many to see and help and bring God's love to.  I guess it is good Charlotte and Judy get tired cause it is helping me to stop and rest.

I wish I could have brought that woman home and fed her and gave her comfort for the rest of her days here and I gave her 10 rubles.  It saddens me that I did not do more.  Tomorrow I will be more careful to be more open to giving.

The toys have been great and what children we have given too have been so excited. Thanks, Anns. I would say that if we had to go home today I would say we had, in the Lord, accomplished much.  So, just think of what can happen in what 4 more days?  I am not sure what today is.  LoL  I have really lost track of time and the girls are helping to keep me on.

Continue to pray for unity here, divine appointments for the orphanage and these persons: Wallie and his family, Sergi, Cook, Oleg, Desk clerk in red, the women on our floor that are the house mothers, they are coming around now and the house cleaner. The Chinese gal she is really trying to talk to us and for the computer guy here.  I will try to get names better.

We love you all and we have stepped out of the boat and are running across the water.

 Love ya again, Kathie

Hello loved ones,

We do not have much time so I am writing what I can as a main letter to all. The job here is accomplished and I wish I could get it written and that will be my main project to do in Germany. It has been so busy with the work at hand that we have not been able to get to the computer and in the night when we have gotten back in they have been closed. Not that I could have written for we have been very tired by the end of the days lately for they have started early and still running late. The children love you and the gifts. We have had such an incredible time here and clothed and fed many children. It is not a good situation but there are those who are giving up their lives here to help the children and so they have excepted us with open arms and did not want us to go. It was so good we did not know what was to happen for reasons I will share later. The words spoken over us were accurate and we are ready for the next adventure. Love to you all and it might be quite for a time as I will have to figure out how to use the computer there with hook ups as Annelene does not have a computer. I heard that we can maybe a card so keep that in your prayers as I try to figure it all out. I love you and Judy and Charolette send their love also. We are also keeping you in our prayers.

Love Kathie
